Welcome to Year 3!
Here you will find out all about our class and all the exciting things that we will be getting up to this year. Our class teacher is Miss Haley and Mrs Sutcliffe will lead the class on Thursdays. Our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Phillips. We have a specialist sports coach and specialist music teacher Miss Hind on a Wednesday afternoon.
Homework is set weekly on a Monday, children will receive a paper maths sheet which will consolidate the week's learning or recap on prior learning and a spelling sheet. Children also need to read regularly as part of their homework.
Reading Books can be returned to school once children are confident and secure with their reading or have finished their book. Please aim to listen to your child regularly to ensure your child is as fluent as possible. Any home reading should be logged on the BoomReader APP. Children will receive dojo points for reading at home.
PE takes place twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays Please ensure your child arrives to school wearing their full PE kit on these days. No earrings should be worn on these days.
