Welcome to Reception!

Here you will find out all about our class and all the exciting things that we will be getting up to this year. Our class teacher is Mrs Booth and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Lord-Jones. We will also have Mr Morris our specialist PE coach on a Thursday morning.

Homework is set weekly on a Monday and consists of reading and Maths activities.

Reading Books should be kept and read at least 3 times before returning to be changed to ensure your child is as fluent as possible.  Any home reading should be logged on the BoomReader APP. Library Books are changed every Tuesday, these are for you to read to your child to help them develop a love of reading.

Class Birthday Amazon wishlist

As a healthy school and one that loves books, we ask that if parent's would like to get a gift for the children in the class, that they choose a book for their child's class to present on their birthday which will have a special named book plate inside.  Books can be chosen from our Amazon wishlist, which is also linked to our easy fundraising page, so benefits the children in more ways than one!  https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/CA71BXRV4EJ8?ref_=wl_share
